"Since I started gardening we have no hunger in this house!" The words of Thabane Madondo from Potshini. In this series of three videos EcoDoc Africa visits rain water harvesting case studies at Potshini and Phuthaditjaba where the RWH is being implementedas a way of increasing food security for rural households, especially during the dry winter months.

The novel approach using JoJo tanks was pioneered by Rural Integrated Engineering and is combined with intensive training in food gardening, tank maintenance and water management, led by Erna Kruger. Part 1 covers the short introduction.
