Al-Sinah: The Remarkable Groundwater Story of a Co-operative Society (English)

This is the inspiring story of the Al-Sinah cooperative in Almaafer (Taiz governerate). The cooperative has undertaken many important development projects, including the development and maintenance of their own water supply system. At the core of the initiative was the will to protect the area’s less-than-abundant groundwater resources.

The video is the third in a series called ‘Building on Practice,’ documenting case studies in local water management from Yemen. Other videos in the series (and English versions of all) will be coming soon on TheWaterChannel.
