This video describes the important role of water in different sectors (agriculture, industry, domestic use, recreation) throughout the centuries starting with the Nile and the early settlements around it. The video gives an overview of the Arabic region and its climatic areas before it explains about the water resources, aquifers and the hydrogeological situation of the region. The video conludes with activities carried out by the Arab Water Council. It promotes better understanding and management of water resources in the Arab state in a multi disciplinary non-poitical, professional and scientific way.
