Stormwater management using leaky wells

Leaky wells or recharge wells can take clean stormwater and allow it to percolate into the ground. This raises the groundwater table and prevents accumulation and flooding. Recharging can also reduce the dimensions of storm drains and is a good source management strategy in low groundwater table areas.
