Description

This is Mr Chien, of the Veteran Association of Thuan Hoa Village in Central Vietnam. He is guarding the freshly planted mangrove in the Tam Giang Lagoon against buffaloes, encroaching fishermen and otherd that may damage it. He explains what it takes to see the young shrubs through their first year - and how the mangrove plantation flourishes - under the custody of the local council, local association and CSRD - initiated by the ADAPTS Project.
