Floodwater Utilization in Iran

This video is the story of Gareh Bygone, Iran. It used to be a barren, unforgiving desert. However, when the very floods held responsible for loss of soil and vegetation in the region were managed strategically, they helped recharge aquifers and boost agriculture.

This video highlights the people and circumstances that initiated the transformation and are managing it till date.
