Swollen River Floats Roofed Structure into Bridge

March 19, 2008 – Rivers in Arkansas are exceeding their flood levels following extreme rainfall. While surveying rising waters in Izard County near the city of Calico Rock, Steve Franks with the U.S. Geological Survey in Little Rock captures this incredible cell phone video of a roofed structure floating down the White River and slamming into the bridge on Arkansas State Highway 5.
