Climate change debates are largely driven by scientists and policy-makers in national and international arenas. Participatory video, however, offers the opportunity for local people to raise their voices and share their perceptions and knowledge of this issue with a large audience.

This short video was directed by a group of 12 women from Dhanusha District, south Nepal, who received three days video production training. They interviewed themselves on how climate has affected their livelihoods.

The video training was led by Preeya Nair, from the Art for Change Trust.
This research project was funded by the CGIAR Research Program on Climate Change and Food Security (CCAFS) and carried out by Floriane Clement, IWMI Nepal office.
