Irrigation In Australia (1967)

News fragment from 1967

Irrigation has brought new life to Australia. Some of the irrigation water is pumped directly from the river, some of it is running in man-made channels running a hundred and eighty miles long. Wheels keep the water level up. The wheels also measure the water that is going to each property, which is then sold by the acre-foot.
