At the Flood Proof Holland test site in Delft knowledge is shared between academics and private companies. In this Soil DTS experiment, fiber optic cables are used to measure soil moisture. In this video, Dr. Susan Steel-Dunn of TU Delft explains the advantages of this new innovation.
