Microclimates are conditions created by the interplay of climatic factors such as temeperature, humidity, soil moisture, wind, and precipitation… at local levels. Numerous examples from Ethiopia, Rwanda, China, and India show that microclimate management at the local level can complement climate change mitigation and adaptation efforts at national/global level.
