Rainwater harvesting mini earthworks on the road

The mud road infront of my house gets eroded heavily due to water run-off. me and my friends, last year, worked while it rained, to make a little elevation in the road to divert the water into our garden. The idea was mine, but the sweat was that of Madhu, Upendra, Kalyan, Sai Kumar, among others that worked along side me that rainy day. It was 1 and half years ago. It still works even now, but needed minor repairs. The last part of the video is the shot of rain water flowing into our garden after the minor repairs were done. Water works, whether on small scale or on a large scale. Much of such water harvesting can be done all across India, and that water can be directed towards the tree and plant systems, to soak the water up into the soil and to hydrate the landscape to provide enough moisture for the trees through out the year. This is the update for the video done by sai prasanna kumar, which featured the same information, but there was no rain to show how it worked in that video.
