This film investigates the beauty and the mysteries of one of the longest rivers of the world, the Mekong. As we descends its close to 5 000 kilometers, this river offers us incredible discovered but above all gives us the opportunity to meet some of the 320 million inhabitants who live in its baisin since millennia. If the languages and traditions divide them all, but this river remains the economic, social and spiritual link of what we can call the People of the Mekong. Charming characters will serve us as guides in this immense and magnificent natural decor and shall give the leisure to look at the impact this natural river link leaves has on its people and the environmental challenges which it has to face.
