A Machine for Millet

An example of participatory technology development, this is a story of how a community in Southern India helped develop the ‘Millet Machine,’ customizing technology to fulfil their unique needs. The Machine has improved food security in the region and given a news lease of life to a food crop almost on the verge of extinction.
