In 2009, Polar explorer Eric Larsen journeyed to the top, bottom and the roof of the world (North Pole, South Pole and Mount Everest), to raise awareness about melting ice caps and rising sea levels.
For a whole year, Larsen and his associates walked, climbed, sailed, slept, ate and drank… amid snow, ice, freezing winds, avalanches and landscapes of unending white. “Cold is like a brick wall,” he says. “It stops everything, even on a molecular level.”
You can get a taste of what Eric experienced, through his upcoming documentary ‘COLDER.’ Watch the extended trailer on TheWaterChannel. Also playing now are videos from his other expeditions: ‘Mt. Shasta Climb’ and ‘Svalbard Time Lapse.’
