Thanks to all of you, we’ve hit the four-figures this fine winter!
Fittingly, the 1000th video (Tourism Meltdown..) is about drift ice in Okhotsk, Japan. A major tourist attraction, it has been thinning out/ forming late for several years, largely due to rising temperatures.
In keeping with the frosty theme, our latest video feature discusses the importance of ice caps to stable sea levels, agriculture, livelihoods, food security and eco-systems. It compiles a number of related videos from Peru, Tajikistan, Nepal, Indonesia and many other places.
Again, thanks for your support! We hope it continues to grow and TheWaterChannel grows with it.
With Warm Regards,
