The broadcast report "Water is life" shows innovative water and sanitation projects in Kenya, funded with the aid of a 500 million euro Water Facility spanning more than 40 countries across the ACP region. Of key importance to the EU-ACP funding package is the high level of community involvement. Implementing a project is just the first stage in a long process of which the most important objective is sustaining a population long after the implementation has been completed.
