Mrs Sarmin Sultana of Dhaka University presents at SWWW2010 research into storing freshwater in saline environments. Highlighting current water access in Bangladesh and the prospect of Managed Aquifer Recharge for improving water access the action research of groundwater buffering in coastal area is explained (UNICEF supported programme). The way forward in scaling up the buffering of sweet water in saline environments is then set out.
