The FAO (Food and Agricultural Organisation of the United Nations) has launched an Open Access Database on Water Productivity called WaPOR version 1.0. This database provides satellite-derived information on water consumption and water productivity for the African continent and the Middle East. It is a powerful tool to monitor water productivity and assist in decision-making for agricultural water management. This video provides a tutorial on using the WaPOR database version 1.0, including a demonstration of the different functionalities possible in WaPOR for making time series and downloading the data.
