Full Title: Integrated Science and Decision Making: Cutting Edge Science to Address Real-World Watershed Issues
A vision for progress in land-atmosphere interaction research, as it relates to improving weather and climate prediction systems. Rather than providing a comprehensive review of the issues in land-atmosphere research, as has been done in numerous, recent high-level documents, this report aims to isolate a handful of critical challenges and opportunities which will be prominent over the next ten years. In particular, issues related to the complex linkages between terrestrial hydrological and atmospheric processes and the challenge of working across numerous spatial and temporal scales is focused upon.
