In semiarid areas, terracing land can significantly improve rainfall infiltration. In East Africa, the ‘Fanya Juu Terrace’ is a very popular terrace type. It is easy to design and construct. The video shows how farmers can do the terrace design and layout by themselves, using simple line-level equipment.
