A UNDP clip: To address the problem of water pollution caused by the dumping of agricultural waste near the Tur River, sites to collect the waste and turn it into compost were created. This not only reduces the damage to plants and wildlife in the area, bit it provides local farmers with an environmentally friendly material with which to fertilize crops.
