25% Alliance
The 25% Alliance is a community of practice that brings together a large number of Netherlands-based organizations that work in Agricultural Water Management and in particular concern themselves with business-related solutions that increase water productivity. This is part of one of the key policy priorities by the Dutch government to increase water productivity by 25% in Dutch Development Cooperation.
As such it intends to contribute to Sustainable Development Goal 6.4 on improved water use efficiency. The 25% Alliance is convened by MetaMeta, RAIN, and NWP. Making use of the political momentum to measure water productivity, the overall objective of bringing a community of practice together is to introduce tangible water productivity improvement measures, based on agricultural water management solutions and expertise available within the Netherlands-based water sector.
A series of Water Productivity Master Classes was organized by the Alliance, see Water Productivity Events. To become member and stay up to date, contact Simon Chevalking at schevalking@metameta.nl.
