It’s sad that this is the reality of the lives of some people in Nigeria. Residents of Ilaje community in Ijora area of Lagos lack sanitation facilities and water facilities and water just like similar communities around the country. Most of them are very low income earners and cannot afford to buy clean safe water to drink, let alone to cook, have their bath and do their laundry.
So you can understand why they are taking advantage of a busted water pipe in public to shower and for other doings.
