This Practical Action film describes strengthening the capacity of communities to manage early warning systems (EWS) to reduce the impacts of floods in Chitwan and Nawalparasi districts of Nepal. Flood is a seasonal hazard in Nepal blighting the lives of thousands annually and destroying lives and livelihoods throughout the hills and terai. The film showcases the use of theater and song for awareness raising and demonstrates how communities can build their own physical defenses.
