The AgWater Solutions Project, led by IWMI, explored how innovations in on-farm water management could help smallholder farmers. In Ghana, one of the countries targeted by the researchers, the use of motorized pumps and drip irrigation gives farmers new opportunities to grow valuable crops during the dry season.
