Israel, Spain, or Australia are countries facing a dangerous imbalance between the supply and demand of freshwater. Prices are rising and approaching oil prices, so the reuse of greywater from the sink, the bath, or the washing machine could contribute to the goal of saving on water. By irrigating and flushing with greywater -instead of freshwater-, a household can reduce more than a third of its water consumption. However, this practise is still illegal in Israel, the parliament claims it will put public health at risk.
