Integrating gender into business strategy is good for business, explains Sara Öberg Höper (Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency-SIDA) in this interview.
Along with USAID and the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Sara steers the ‘Securing Water for Food…’ programme. The programme identifies, awards, and supports innovations that will help produce more food with less water…. and make more water available for producing, processing and distributing food.
For such innovation to be sustainable, it has to be able to enter the market with a viable business strategy, claims Sara.
