Social forestry is a great means for the protection of climate change and a source of fuel-fodder and better livelihoods for char dwellers. This video shows how social forestry played a vital role in nursery development, planting trees in marginalized and fellow lands, protecting forest resources, biodiversity conservation, women empowerment, and above all, employment and poverty reduction in coastal chars. Viewing this 7-minutes video, the viewers will know how barren newly accreted land becomes green protecting climate change and new settlements.
