Sustainable/Ecological Agriculture tutorial

Ecological or sustainable agriculture, as the name suggests, is a kind of farming that is sensitive to local conditions. It makes judicious use of available resources and tries to bind locally available plants, trees, birds, animals, insects and micro-organisms to interplay in a mutually beneficially fashion – one that results in nutritious, rich and chemical-free crops.

Watch Ardhendu Sekhar Chatterjee of Development Research Communication and Services Centre, Kolkata as he talks in detail about the principles of ecological/sustainable farming.
