Tsumi, River men” perform a tour of the Yaku (water) worldview of the men and women of the Kichwa Ancestral Town of Kawsak Sacha in the Ecuadorian Amazon. The documentary reflects spiritual and ritual aspects, territorial management processes, management of aquatic ecosystems and their strategic fauna, but also portrays the tireless struggle of a people to maintain their Kawsak Yaku (living water) in the face of extractivism and to continue living The Sumak Kawsay (life in harmony).
