Water desalination in thirsty Gulf region

The Arabian Gulf is one of the driest places on earth. Temperatures here can reach 50 degrees celsius and it hardly ever rains. Al Jazeera’s Erica Wood explains how the region is dealing with water shortages and asks if other dry countries could follow its lead.
