What is today, is not what it was yesterday nor what it will be tomorrow.? The city of Moynoq on the coast of Uzbekistan on the Aral sea, now feels like a ghost town. Its former inhabitants the victims of an unstoppable environmental disaster that has has been ravaging the island and killing its residents for decades. This documentary explores the despair and resignation of the ex fishing families of Moynoq as they try to redefine their lives.
