Irrigation in Amhara OldYoungCode

Farming community development regions lack creativity and innovation skills. This code clearly describes that water users should be innovative and/or creative and thereby visualizes opportunities and any future challenges in time before it becomes more complicated to be treated by their capacity. On top of that, farmers-to-farmers discussion and expert advice will be taken into consideration to visualize challenges, i.e., opportunities and constraints. It is well known that Ethiopia has a farming community of more than 90% of the population. Hence, synergy among this community to increase creativity is critically important and thereby helps to bring change for fighting poverty.

The role play demonstrates the values of visibility of challenge and turned out to be an extremely effective tool to connect to the community.
